About Us

Our Mission

The Dance for Paralysis Foundation believes no person living with paralysis should be denied accessibility based on his or her injury. Our mission is to raise money and awareness for those who are physically unable to dance: those living with paralysis. We believe by hosting Dance for Paralysis events, our efforts will significantly help lift people out of wheelchairs and onto the dance floor.

About Us

The Dance for Paralysis Foundation was founded at a Sammy Adams concert in April 2011. While founder Thomas E. Smith was attending Sam’s show, he was enjoying himself but realized while being the so-called (elephant in the room) he could not dance like Sam and his friends. At that moment, The Dance for Paralysis Foundation was born. Thomas and his team are committed to raising money by hosting different musical events to help those living with paralysis. All members would like to thank you for your support and hope to see you at a concert in the near future!
